Step 1: Knowledge

The knowledge step brings the two knowledge people to the table: both the customer and the developer. The customer is the expert on their business and knows how it operates, it goals and its personality. The developer is able to incorporate the customer's knowledge of their business into creating a unique and professional website that is user friendly for both the website visitor and the website owner.

Step 2: Layout & Design

At this step the designer begins to create the layout and design of the website based on feedback from the customer.  The design will be placed on a demo server once it is ready to be viewed. The customer will then provide feedback on the design and the designer will make the last changes. Once the design is finalized we will move on to the implementation phase.

Step 3: Implementation

With the design approved the developer will begin to code the design and implement it into the content management system. In this step all the pages and features requested will be added to the site. The work will be completed on a demo server which will allow the customer to see the progress being made daily.

Step 4: Feedback & Testing

After the design and content management system have been completed the website will be tested to ensure the website is ready for launch. Testing includes testing the website in many browsers, ensuring all links and forms work properly, there are no bugs in the payment and / or ordering process, etc. At this step the customer is also asked to provide feedback regarding any bugs. All bugs will be corrected by the developer.

Step 5: Launch

The website will be transferred to the customer's server and will be made live.
